Reevaluate Your Golf Game

Hello Friends,
It’s that special time of year again. Since the last retelling of our famed yearly contest, we’ve withstood a hella injury-cursed Braves Season where those lil’ bastards still somehow made the playoffs, a Falcons team that blasted off then crashed and burned so hard that it’d make the Challenger engineers proud, 2 extremely flawed college football teams, one with BK’s favorite God-emperor QB Ewers at the helm, another team who’s fully stocked room of 4 and 5-star receivers somehow forgot how to catch footballs, and I guess maybe yall probably had some trips n shit with your loved ones and made other memories last year idk, but I digest. Where once our wolfpack was four, then 6, now this year our loins swell again with the addition of Johnny and TJ, titans of the game in their own right I think. As the new tourney rolls around, I find it important to remember those past champions who walk among us; BK, BK, BK, and BK. Wow. What a storied and diverse history. This year we switch the theme back to beach golf rather than mountain golf, and not a moment too soon because I left a couple upper-deckers in the Smoky Mountain CC bathroom last year as retribution for their course conditions. Also, if anyone knows any anti-rain dances they might could perform ahead of the trip I’d greatly appreciate it because I’m getting REAL tired of getting interrupted on day 3. So in summation, good luck to those on my team day 1 and day 2, and otherwise get bent. <3
Overall Format – The tournament will consist of 3 rounds played over 3 days. The first 2 days will pit 4-some vs. 4-some teehee against each other in a team format, where golfers’ individual stroke scores are compiled into team scores, as well as tracked individually to determine Top and Low flights for the day 3 individual competition. As you literally just read at the end of the last sentence, the last day will be an individual match, where total individual stroke scores from the first 2 days (not with handicap) will determine the Top Flight and Low Flight. As a reminder, on team play days, one cart in each group will need to track individual stroke scores, while the other cart tracks team scores. To keep things from getting out of hand, we always pick up and stop counting strokes at triple bogey.
I’ve ordered golfers based on what I’ve seen and been told, and created a “buddy system” based on the matching colors below. I then set first day teams as Red/Purple vs. Green/Blue, then Red/Blue vs. Green/Purple to switch things up while keeping it as fair as possible. If anyone feels the rankings are incorrect, please let me know and we can talk about a re-shuffling or a playoff before the tourney gets here.
